In a developing nation like Tanzania in the 21st Century, it is imperative to nurture and develop vocational skills and be able to transfer these skills, new techniques in line with sustainable development goals (SDGs). The manufacturing industry in Tanzania particularly steel fabrication and structural component design and engineering is still largely underdeveloped. The challenge lies not only in capital intensive industry growth and skilled man power to drive this industry forward, but in addressing the “skills gap” and the ‘needs gap’ that exists. where small scale welders and fabricators are engaged in common routine jobs that are not developing their skills further and desperately needing EXPOSURE and OPPORTUNITY to work on new challenges which they can practically apply and pass on to others in order to collectively prepare and tackle the problems that will help bridge us into an improved state of service delivery in this sector.
At ARMADA TECH – we believe in our passion to teach, pass on techniques and critical awareness on material selection, design and creative problem solving with local available alternatives and employ small scale businesses and informal trades to undertake with supervision, new and exciting projects – that will develop knowhow, capacity and confidence to execute new projects that are much needed in a growing economy especially addressing our continents SDGs.

Mariam has strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to make well thought out decisions and multitask.
As our finance and admin manager she utilizes her resourcefulness and experience overseeing day to day operations and general management.
